Vacations started with a bang,somewhere far from home.2 days at Kasargode,my friend shamnas hometown, passed too quickly.Its an interesting place,and the mixed culture,poised between the completely different worlds of Kerala and Karnataka,is fascinating.It was just as fun roaming around Mangalore as it was to surprise my Papa with news that i was in another State,and i did not even tell him i was going!I wish i had more time to watch around both kasargode and Mangalore and hopefully will get another chance sometime in future too.Something i enjoyed just as much was Shammus mom's cooking,who delighted us with her mouth-watering preparations all through our stay.
Returning from kasargode,another trip to Calicut and then a one-night stay there got on the list but then got followed by a not so appetizing prospect of one-day special class.But whew,that too got over!Now looking forward to spending the rest of the vacations in peace,and hoping to meet atleast some of my friends!and learn to drive too!But i need special prayers from all my dear ones for that one,cos i dont even know how to handle a cycle!!:):)
