Ramzan to Begin Next Month

The dear month of Ramzan is set to begin in 2 days at least, and I am looking forward to the time.Ramzan is a month of such peace and good-feeling and I could really use a dose of it.Its 30(or 29) days of getting back to my Allah, bonding with Him on a better scale and retrieving some of those lost religious fervour for me.I deeply hope in my heart that this month is really a month of profit for me in the afterlife, and the good feelings generated in my heart in my heart may prove influential throughout my life.

First of all, welcome to my friend Shamna Hameed to the blogging world, although i cannot honestly claim that I am a veteran. She has beautifully named it "pazhatholi",and i say that because she intends it to be a little heated.I wish her all blogging success and hope atleast that she gives some hefty contributions, not like my once-in-two-months appearance.

I would like to add one SMS i recently read which i loved, even though its a thought by Chetan Bhagat and i must definitely have come across it before now-"Work hard, but also leave time for love and family.Nobody remembers your PowerPoint presentations when you die."..:)
Since i was out of reach of internet things would come to my mind that i would think of writing in my blog, but now that my blog page is actually accessible again, all of those seems to have gotten automatically wiped out.

Vacations

Vacations started with a bang, somewhere far from home.2 days at  Kasargode,my friend shamnas hometown, passed too quickly. Its an interesting place, and the mixed culture, poised between the completely different worlds of Kerala and Karnataka,is fascinating. It was just as fun roaming around Mangalore as it was to surprise my Papa with news that i was in another State, and i did not even tell him i was going!I wish i had more time to watch around both kasargode and Mangalore and hopefully will get another chance sometime in future too.Something i enjoyed just as much was Shammus mom's cooking, who delighted us with her mouth-watering preparations all through our stay.
Returning from kasargode, another trip to Calicut and then a one-night stay there got on the list but then got followed by a not so appetizing prospect of one-day special class. But whew, that too got over! Now looking forward to spending the rest of  the vacations in peace, and hoping to meet atleast some of my friends!and learn to drive too!But i need special prayers from all my dear ones for that one,cos i dont even know how to handle a cycle!!:):)
